Christian Walk Study
Have you ever heard or used the phrase "my walk with the Lord" or "my Christian walk"? What does that mean? Certainly in the normal sense of the word, you can tell a person by their walk (physically and spiritually). People walk at different paces and styles - fast, slow, heavy, light, with a limp, sauntering, meandering, long strides, short strides, unsteady, etc.
And there's no question that walking is good for you. People walk for exercise, recreation, transportation. But what about our "Christian walk"? How we conduct ourselves on a daily basis in our relationship with the Lord and others..
The scriptures highlight the six elements that should characterize our Christian walk:
- Walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16, Romans 8:1)
- Walk in Love (Ephesians 5:1-2)
- Walk in the Light (Ephesians 8-9)
- Walk in Wisdom (Ephesians 5:15-16)
- Walk in Unity (Ephesians 4:1-3)
- Walk in Truth (3 John 1:3-4)
